The Navy League is a civilian maritime organization founded in 1902, dedicated to educating

Harvey Walpert 70,000 members in 330 councils worldwide engage in activities supportive of the U.S. Navy,
Marine Corps, Coast Guard and
Merchant Marine.
Mr. Walpert is the immediate past chairman of the New Orleans chapter of the League, and current president of the Southeast
Shipyard Association.
