Manager. 50 to 100 employees, two 1,000-ton floating drydocks, machine shop, and other supporting trades. Manager would be responsible for operations, marketing and estimating, customer relations, safety and quality assurance and profitability. Work includes
Coast Guard vessels, Army vessels, commercial tugs, large fishing vessels, small ships, barges, and dredging equipment. Experience with pipeline dredging equipment would be desirable.

MARINE DESIGN ENGINEER
Seaward International, Inc. has an immediate opening for a
Marine Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a
BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years marine engineering experience relating to marine buoys, waterfront structures and related marine equipment. Other qualifying characteristics include a familiarity with port and harbor structures, familiarity with marine structures (ship fendering systems, buoys, and mooring systems), familiarity with geotechnic engineering involving marine pile, structures, ability to perform a moderate level of structural calculations and analysis, familiarity with AutoCad, and project management experience.

PORT ENGINEER
USS Great Lakes Fleet, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Port
Engineer. USS Great Lakes Fleet, Inc. is a major owner and operator of dry bulk, self unloading, steam and motor vessels.
The position will be assigned to our corporate offices located in
Duluth, MN and requires occasional travel to ports throughout the
Great Lakes. This position is responsible for developing and managing repair and maintenance budgets, dry dockings, construction and damage repairs to vessel machinery. Must be able to work successfully with management, vessel, ABS, and
USCG personnel. Applicants must possess an Associate or B.S. degree in Marine Engineering or related field. Two years of applicable sailing experience, and a valid USCG Engineer's license are desirable.
