WW M YEARS AGO, when Main Iron Works built this •3 A tugboat, the owner selected our competitor's engines instead of our 900 HP Detroit Diesel 16V149S.

Now, over three decades later, the competitor's engines are worn out — and are no longer manufactured. Replacement parts are expensive and hard to find, relative to Detroit Diesel's.

The answer: replace the engine with Stewart & Stevenson's rebuilt 16V149s, still currently manu- factured. New and exchange replacement parts are still currently available. It is not uncommon for us to replace our competitor's obsolete engines with

Detroit Diesels which were manufactured before his — but improvements and updates have kept the

Detroit Diesels current and competitive.

When you are ready to repower your boat, or build a new boat, and you need new or remanufactured diesels, call Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc.
