R&B FALCON DRILLING COMPANY is currently expanding its fleet of deepwater drilling units. Several of these vessels are initially outfitted to drill in 7,500 feet of water and designed for I0,000 feet which represents state of the an dynamically positioned (DP) design. Focusing on safety, reliability, and efficiency, these vessels incorporate significant technological advances in their design, water depth and drilling capacities. Individuals of superior ingenu- ity are needed for project and design development for new build, conversion, refurbishment, and upgrades to floating and jack-up offshore drilling rigs.

We currently seek individuals for the following positions:

SENIOR ENGINEER, STRUCTURAL

A Master's of Science in Structural Engineering or equivalent Engineering Science preferred. Bachelor's will be considered. Must have experience in design, inspection, and construction of floating oilfield vessels. Extensive computer experience and international travel required.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER, MARINE SYSTEMS

A Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering is desirable, equivalent practical experience will be evaluated. Offshore floating oilfield experience preferably in operations, or combined experience in oper- ations and design, is desired. Extensive computer experience and international travel required.

SENIOR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER, NAVAL ARCHITECTURE

A Master's of Science in Naval Architecture or equivalent Ocean Science required. Offshore floating oilfield experience preferably in operations, or combined experience in operations and design, is desired. Extensive computer experience and international travel required.

Naval Architects and Marine Engineers

The role involves carrying out surveys for both ships under construction and in-service to ensure compliance with LR's rules and regulations and international statutory requirements. You will have held a position as technical manager or principal naval architect or principal marine engi- neer working for a shipyard, shipowner or classification society for at least five years and be qualified with at least a degree in Naval

Architecture, Marine Engineering or a seagoing 1st class Marine
