The general trend, how- ever, will be for a greater number of these activities to be insured in the marine market. Drewry notes, however, this increased activity may not — unlike other insurance sectors — manifest itself through reduced rates. The options avail- able are more limited and the few insurers who are able and pre- pared to underwrite complex liabil- ity risks will keep a tight control over the terms and conditions which they offer.
