Legend.

One definition of the word legend refers to " a collection of stories about an admirable person". Over the past 50 years, Jack Sahlman has built a legendary reputation in the commercial shrimping and fishing industry. Mention

Jack's name to anyone in the business and they'll tell you that Jack Sahlman,

President and CEO of Sahlman Seafoods,

Inc., has done more to positively influence the commercial seafood industry than any other individual, group, or business.

Jack is also a legend in the marine industry. He is directly responsible for the new construction and outfitting of over 400 vessels. That's 400 hulls - outfitted with over 400 engines, gears, generator sets, winches, propellers, pumps, freezer sys- tems, etc. Not to mention the dozens of windows, gallons of paint, and tons of steel it took to complete these vessels.
