Shipbuilders Council of America will merge. It will be called
Shipbuilders Council of America, representing more than 50 com- panes that own and operate more than 100 shipyards in 20 states.

Inc. (USMR) has agreed to acquire
Pacific Ship Repair and
Fabrication (PACSHIP) with head- quarters in San Diego, Calif, and additional facilities in the Puget
Sound, Wash. area. The acquisiton of PACSHIP, with annual revenues between $25 million and $35 mil- lion, gives USMR a 65 percent share of all the non-nuclear air- /It !
