New Container Vessels
Introduced
Turkish Cargo Line has char- tered two full container vessels for its Turkey express container ser- vice from the East Coast to the
Mediterranean. The ships, the MTV
Izzet Incekara and M/V
Cumhuriyet 75, are recently built cellular vessels with a capacity of 860 TEUs per ship. The Turkish flag vessels, which were built in
Istanbul in 1996, will be deployed along with the M/V Bitlis to pro- vide sailings directly to Turkey.
