Hakodate Completes Log/Bulk

Carrier For

Diamond Camellia

The Hakodate Dock Co. Ltd. complet- ed construction of the 31,762-dwt log/bulk carrier, Century Forest, for Dia- mond Camellia S.A. The vessel is a new handy-size bulk carrier, exceeding the capacity of the previous handy size of 28,000-dwt.

The ship was designed with a shallow draft in comparison to other ships with similar cargo loading capacity. The

Century Forest can maintain sufficient stable condition without any ballast water in tanks during full load condi- tions of 6,041,931 S.C.R. logs in holds and on decks.
