Lasco Shipping Company, operator of a fleet of 24 bulk carriers, currently has an immediate opening for a Port Captain at its

Pacific Northwest headquarters.

This position performs various management and oversight duties related to vessel operations, loading and maintenance, and acts as company liaison between corporate management, vessel officers and Lasco customers. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree from a maritime college or equivalent; at least 5 years of seagoing experience as a Master; experience navigating dry-bulk vessels or tankers in a variety of sea conditions; and experience implementing QSM per ISO 9002 and IMO/ISM requirements.

Panamax experience is preferred.
