Planning to construct utility barges for the supply of electric power to countries with electric power shortages, the com-pany will also solicit ship repair work from oil tanker companies, cruise ship lines and container lines calling at the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. With one of the biggest drydocks on the west coast, the company estimates that it expects to employ about 500 workers.
