Todd Pacific is the West Coast's shipyard of choice for com- plex overhauls, ship repair and conversions. We seek the leader for our Engineering department and additional, key project management professionals.

As Engineering Manager, you are our senior technical expert, ensuring that design strategies and execution meet or exceed customers' expectations. Your business skills will ensure that engineered work is cost-effectively completed.

You will also be the lead engineer on projects of the largest scope and value.

Your qualifications include a bachelor's degree in naval archi- tecture or marine engineering, with professional licensing strongly preferred. Your minimum of ten years' experience will include design work in shipbuilding and repair, as well as working knowledge of U.S. Navy and Coast Guard require- ments.

We also seek several additional Project/Planning/Contract

Managers for major conversions and ship repair contracts.

You will have full P&L responsibility for your projects, through thorough mastery of job scope, direct control of costs includ- ing change order estimating, and delivery within contract timelines. You will lead a dedicated project management team complete with skills in project superintending, job plan- ning and scheduling, and contract management.

Your successful experience in project management is the pri- mary qualification, though education in business or a techni- cal specialty is a plus. Related, transferable skills would be your experience as a port engineer or ship's engineer.

Overall, a minimum of five recent years in the marine indus- try is required, preferably with direct shipyard experience.

VESSEL DESIGN ENGINEERS:

Sr. Naval Architect, Structural Engineer

Sr. Marine/Mechanical Engineer

BS in Engineering related field. Minimum 8 yrs design engineering experience. Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Knowledge of applied marine design a plus.

LOFTER

Product Modeling

BS degree or equivalent. Plan to provide production work package to support ship manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CadLink and

AutoPlant software and ship manufacture method planning a plus.

DESIGNER

Piping 81 Hull/Structural 10-15 yrs experience in marine design with minimum 5 years commer- cial marine. Knowledge of ABS, USCG & SOLAS rules a must.

SCHEDULER

BS degree in ship production or equivalent experience of 5-10 years ship manufacturing experience. Must understand ship product break- down and material kitting planning method.
