Candidate will be accountable for guaranteeing allSupervisors under their control are complying to the Ten Fundamental rules of Supervision and the LeadershipCreed, ensure all time charges are processed and allocat- ed on a daily basis, provide proactive and consistent feed- back to Supervisors regarding quality, cost, delivery, safe- ty and morale.Qualified candidate will maintain positive morale and mini-mize confrontation among other crew members, maintain a succession plan and identify key personnel while imple-menting training programs. Candidates must display good working knowledge of planning and monitoring, be able towork under pressure in a fast-paced environment and must have excellent people management skills.Fabrication Qualifications: Candidate must have 3 years experience at Austal or a total of 5 years shipbuilding, min-imum 2 years supervision, sound knowledge of Austals scheduling format & reports including: manning require- ments, late starting tasks, late finishing tasks, 21 day look ahead and physical percent complete and must have sound computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook. Fitout Qualifications: Candidate must have 5 years super- visory experience in marine and/or industrial construction,be able to perform all tasks associated with Fitout Supervisory position, must have working knowledge ofmarine joiner/carpentry, insulation HVAC and paint. Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) a plus. Candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other software products.
