De- signed to accommodate 120 (but upgradable to 199 with 58 single cabins,and 31 double cabins onboard) every- thing onboard is designed with a focus onredundancy. The vessel features six generators split up in three zones, and with six separatedengine rooms, meaning it can maintainDP3 ops with one system out of service.M/V North Sea Giant is also equippedwith one of the largest active heave com- pensated offshore crane on the market, the Hydramarine 400T knuckle boomcrane type HMC4841, featuring 3000mof single line wire.
