Hsu excels in two worlds: the realm of fine art and the intricacy of design engineering and foren- sics analysis. Peter is noted for his stunning work forthe U.S. Navy in producing art for the commissioning of new ships, as Peters artwork depicts the achieve- ments of the ships namesakes combined with accu-rate renderings of the warships themselves. Titanic on canvas Arguably no other maritime casualty in history elicits discussion & debateas does the ill-fated Titanic. On the 100th Anniversary of her loss ? April 15th, 2012 ? the ship, its sinking and the loss of1500 lives remains fresh as ever in the minds of the public through all forms of media. On the ensuring pages find a unique, artistic per- spective of the ship and its loss (or, in the case of James Floods What If? work show- cased on the bottom of page 27, a view at the ship as she could have looked arriving un- scathed into New York Harbor). Many of the works are being featured this month by The Noble Maritime Collection, as it presents Ti- tanic: A Centennial Exhibition of Contempo- rary Art commemorating the sinking of the ocean liner, set to open April 15, 2012.
