and client requirements. This integration of functions thereby provides the user with a one-stop emergency control cen- ter for incident management and mar- itime asset coordination. In the system?s simplest form, the con- tainerized version provides a greater level of flexibility in a variety of applications in that it can be easily and quickly de-ployed on maritime assets such as FPSO?s and platforms operating offshore in medium to high risk. When those as- sets are redeployed elsewhere in the world, where the security risk maybe lower, the container can be removed and transferred to another asset being pre-pared to operate or already operatingwithin the medium to high risk zones. The surveillance container is also an at- tractive proposition to the maritime secu- rity industry where in its anti-piracy role the container can be loaded quickly andefficiently onto a vessel at the last safe port prior to entering a high risk. The ves- sel can then make its passage through the high risk zone with the surveillance con- tainer providing extra protection and as- surance to the vessel, crew and cargo. Once through the high risk zone the ves- sel can then transfer the container at itsnext destination to another vessel that is about to enter the high risk zone on thereturn leg of its journey. This kind of op- eration would allow a private maritime security company to maintain a few con- tainers in the vicinity of the high riskzone between two or three of the main ports to provide this greater level of pro- tection to their customers operating in thearea.http://www.raytheon-anschuetz.com See us at the International Workboat Show, Booth #2309 November 2012www.marinelink.com 87MR#11 (82-89):MR Template 11/6/2012 9:14 AM Page 87
