Coli and Coliform bacteria, chlorine and pH, as well as an incubator and UV Lamp for detection of E. Coli bacteria. The inclu- sion of the incubator ensures a controlled temperature environment and therefore consistent results of bacteria tests. Also included is a comprehensive instruc-tion manual and a video showing how to carry out testing to support crew training and competence. Owners may also con-struct a more comprehensive kit includ-ing tests for total bacteria count (HPC), Legionella bacteria, color, turbidity, In- testinal Enterococci, depending on the speciÞ c requirements of their ß ag state. The kit is available for immediate supply from WSS Service centres in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Paci Þ c and the Ameri- cas.Ardmore Adds SkySails Performance MonitorsIrish product and chemical tanker spe-cialist Ardmore Shipping added SkySails Performance Monitors across its ß eet to measure the numerous fuel-saving tech-nologies that have been integrated across Ardmore?s new build vessels, including larger and more ef Þ cient propellers, Mewis Duct and propeller boss cap Þ n devices for improved propeller and hull form efÞ ciency, MAN B&W ME-B and ME-C electronic engines, as well as a high-performance hull coating.SkySails? Performance Monitor is a sen- sors-based computer system continuous-ly collecting and analyzing data about the ships? and operating conditions, thus lending transparency to the interrelation between the various factors that deter- mine the optimal settings for operating a vessel. The SkySails Performance Monitor delivers the necessary insights for improving a ship?s operational ef Þ -ciency. MR #5 (66-74).indd 67MR #5 (66-74).indd 675/2/2013 10:56:17 AM5/2/2013 10:56:17 AM
