Shipyard facilities and tools are essential to the job, but in the end ship repair is a relationship business, and Detyens invests in making life-long friends and partners both inside and outside of the company.

Ward, a machinist Machinist Department head with 53 years of service. Combined with Loy Stewart
Jr.’s 30 years of experience, this is a cumulative 174 years of service.
