COMMAND PERFORMANCE Turbines ...by the Maag Synchronous Clutch Coupling from Koppers The Maag Synchronous Clutch Coupling engages or disengages only at your command, from 0 to 3600 r.p.m. or more. Utilizing the double engage-ment gear coupling principle for torque transmis-sion, the Maag unit features an automatic syn-chronizing mechanism over which you exercise push-button control. The Maag (shown above with upper part of housing removed for illustrative purposes) stays where you put it; it will not engage or disengage because of torque fluctuations, and it will not create axial vibrations. Ideal for industrial peaking power plants and marine propulsion, the Maag is offered by Koppers under an exclusive licensing arrangement. Thus, Koppers is now of even greater service in helping you transmit power efficiently and profit-ably.
