Lines Incorporated, has announced three personnel appointments and promotions.
James F. Breslin has been ap- pointed vice - president - controller, succeeding Robert E. Schenk who is retiring. Prior to joining Far- rell Lines, Mr. Breslin held the position of controller with the
Fred F. French Investing Com- pany, Inc. Before that, he was
Long Island manager for Deloitte,
Haskins & Sells.
Julian F. Corish has been pro- moted to regional manager, South- ern Region, which includes the states of Oklahoma, Texas, New
Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mis- sissippi, Alabama, Florida, South
Carolina, the lower half of Ten- nessee, and the western half of
North Carolina. He was formerly marketing manager-Southern Re- gion.
Stephen R. Crouch has been ap- pointed manager, U.S. inland in- termodal operations. He was for- merly manager, intermodal oper- ations, Southern area.

Richard J. Gaston has joined

Houston, as manager of engineer- ing services. His responsibilities include maintenance and repair, crew training, supplying the boats, and assisting in the con- struction of new vessels.
A graduate of the U.S. Mer- chant Marine Academy, Mr. Gas- ton previously worked as port en- gineer in the inland waterways for the East Coast branch of
Exxon U.S.A., and as a chief en- gineer for McAllister Brothers,
Inc.
Bulkfleet Marine Corporation, based in Houston, is engaged in the design, construction, and op- eration of tug-barge units char- tered to oil and chemical compa- nies for transporting materials along the U.S. Gulf, East, and
West Coasts.
W.H. Lockwood Appointed

William H. Lockwood Jr. has been named assistant vice presi- dent of Interocean Management
Corporation, a subsidiary of the
Philadelphia-based IOT Corpora- tion.

Interocean Management, said that
Mr. Lockwood's new responsibil- ities would include the overall op- erational management of several of the corporation's fleet of 20 managed vessels.
Mr. Lockwood previously held the position of manager/ship con- struction within Interocean with special responsibilities for coordi- nating the delivery of two 165,- 000-dwt vessels and two 309,000- dwt vessels, the last of which— the U.S.T.
