Inc. recently announced the ap- pointment of John A. Malagraph as general manager of their new- ly opened New York office, lo- cated at 170 Broadway.

Prior to joining Advanced Ma- rine Enterprises Inc., Mr. Mala- graph spent 12 years with De- signers & Planners Inc. (formerly a subsidiary of Todd Shipyards), holding various management po- sitions, including treasurer.

Advanced Marine's New York office joins the other highly suc- cessful naval architecture, man- agement science, and marine and ocean engineering offices located at Arlington and Virginia Beach,

Va., San Diego, Calif., and Phil- adelphia, Pa.

Since the start of its opera- tions in mid-1981, the New York office has successfully completed jobs for Barge Music, Ltd.; Bras- well Shipyards, Inc.; Department of Marine & Aviation, City of

New York; and Marine Design &

Operations. With this modest be- ginning, supported by the large resources of the other divisions, the New York office is expected to be self sustaining within one year.

Advanced Marine is currently serving the Naval Sea Systems

Command; Military Sealift Com- mand ; U.S. Coast Guard; and a number of major shipyards in- cluding Ingalls, General Dynam- ics, Quincy, and Norfolk Ship- building & Drydock Co. Advanced

Marine's most recent award was the multiyear, multimillion-dollar engineering support contract with

PMS-383 (NAVSEA Acquisition

Manager for Auxiliary Ships).

Ltd., New York, N.Y., announced the recent publication of a new brochure detailing the capabili- ties and services provided by Con- strunaves, the Spanish Shipbuild- ers Association.

The brochure is divided into various sections which include graphs and figures corresponding to production, exports, and orders during the last decade, as well as a detailed list of some of the vessels delivered during the last year. It also contains photo- graphs and data concerning the shipyards that are members of the Association.
