The Naval Electronic Systems
Command was renamed the Space and Naval Warfare Command.

VAdm. Rowden was named commander of NAVSEA. He had commanded the MSC. VAdm.
Clark was selected to head the
Space and Naval Warfare Com- mand. He had headed the Strategic
Systems Program Office.

Thermal Reduction Offers
New Brochure On
Metal Products Line
The Thermal Reduction Compa- ny, Riverside, N.J., is offering a newly revised brochure on their complete line of metal products.
The products offered by the compa- ny include: marine corrosion protec- tion; copper; brass; lead; zinc; tin/ tin-lead/ solder; alloys; cadmium/ nickel; antimony; aluminium; and magnesium.
According to the brochure, Ther- mal Reduction is one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of marine corrosion protection. The company reportedly has a reputa- tion for quality and on-time de- livery.
The brochure, which is in its third revision, is broken in to two main sections. The first section contains text on the company's marine corro- sion protection products and the second section is devoted to mill and foundry products.

ADS Workshop

October 2-3 In Chicago "Getting Your Next Customer— and Keeping the Ones You Have" is the subject of a special workshop to be presented October 2-3 by the
Association of Diesel Specialists,
September 1, 1985 announced ADS president Harold
Klebanoff, LaBan Equipment
Corp., Valley Stream, N.Y. The workshop will be held at the Ra- mada Hotel O'Hare, Chicago, 111. "Marketing and sales planning is more important than ever in the diesel fuel injection service busi- ness," said Mr. Klebanoff. "Our industry is long past the point where a diesel shop can simply open for business and expect the customers to start flowing in," he said.
The workshop will provide ADS members with information which they can take back to their shops and put into practice, according to
Mr. Klebanoff. The subject areas to be covered include: "What is marketing, and where does it fit into your business?," "Setting realistic goals, and tying them into company objectives," "Ways to make your company's individual characteris- tics work to your advantage," "The roles of top management and sales management, and how they are dif- ferent," and "What does your cus- tomer think of you? Does it mat- ter?"
Designed for business owners, general managers and sales man- agers, the workshop is presented by the Association of Diesel Specialists in cooperation with the Fromm In- stitute, Kansas City, Mo. as a spe- cial service to ADS members.
