DRY DOCKS "Champlain" graving dock 364 meters long by 36.5 meters at entrance by 12.19 meters at sill "Lome" graving dock 182.5 meters long by 18.6 meters at entrance by 7.82 meters at sill. "General George Vanier" floating dry dock length 182.8 meters by 30.5 meters between walls by 8.7 meters max. draft, lifting capacity 25 400 tonnes.

OUTFIT WHARVES

Six wharves with a combined total length of 994 meters, serviced by travelling, gantry and tower cranes. All wharves can be serviced by a floating crane.

Mould loft • Two main steel shops • Machine shop • Pipe shop • Tinsmith shop • Sandblast and paint shop • Electrical and cable shop

MOBILE CRANES

Up to 400 tonnes individual lifts, heavier in combination.

LABORATORY

Containing complete radiographic and testing equipement • X-ray booth and film developing room • Ultrasonic, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing equipment • Tensile testing, bend testing and Charpy impact testing equipement
