SPECIAL COATING SYSTEMS 400TO 700 • SQUARE METER.

LIQUID Aand ARfor IN SERVICE SHIPS

REAL SAVINGS! Protection of salt water ballast tanks for less than the interest earned on investment of the dollars to be spent for blasting and coating the same surface areas. On older ships fluid systems as compared to soft and hard coatings are the corrosion control systems that make economic sense for both the owner and operator. In addition, these systems represent positive response to the program for enhanced surveys by providing ongoing planned maintenance at scheduled intervals with minimum expenditure. FLUID FILM* A and AR particulars: •Complete penetration of the substrate as opposed to a passive barrier. •One coat at 5-15 mils thickness (120-381 microns) that is transparent for easy inspection. •No solvents. Flashpoint of 157°C (315F). Will not dry-out and crack, but remains flexible. •Descaler where heavy corrosion is present. Reapply for long term protection after rust scale is removed. •In-transit applications by riding crew (raft and pole gun methods optional). •Flotation by Liquid A when alternate method to spray is required. •Protection to five (5) years. Reinforces old coating that is breaking down.
