Haldor Topsoe A/S has specialized in the design and supply of complete SCR DENOX units for reduction of NOx (up to 98 %) in the exhaust gas from stationary as well as marine reciprocating four-stroke and two-stroke engines (burning HFO, LFO or Nat. Gas) and gas turbines.

The design of the SCR DENOX units is based on Topsoe proprietary catalyst series DNX, featuring modular monoli- thic structure, high NOx removal activity, high tolerance to contamination, low oxidation activity, low pressure drop, low weight and especially designed to withstand heavy exhaust pulsations and engine vibrations.

Haldor Topsoe A/S also has catalyst and know-how for removal of CO and HC from diesel engine and gas turbine exhaust gases.

Unger Named President Of

Raytheon Marine Company

Robert Unger has been named president of Raytheon Marine Com- pany. In his new role, Mr. Unger has worldwide responsibility for the company's manufacturing, sales, marketing, service, and product de- velopment activities.

The new president, who reports to Dr. Philip W. Cheney, group executive for Raytheon's commer- cial electronics group, joined

Raytheon Marine in 1981 as director of marketing.

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, he was responsible for developing the sales, distribution, and service networks for Europe's recreational and commercial fishing markets.

Dr. Cheney said Mr. Unger brings "operational and leadership skills to the task of strengthening

Raytheon Marine's preeminent glo- bal position in marine electronics."

Mr. Unger comes to Raytheon

Marine from another Raytheon af- filiate, Chicago-based Sorenson

Company, where he had been presi- dent since 1983.

Crowley Makes Executive

The board of directors of Crowley

Maritime Corporation announced the election ofThomas B. Crowley,

Jr. as its chairman and CEO, filling the positions left vacant by the pass- ing of his father, Thomas Crowley

Sr., on July 7.

The board also announced the election of Molly Murphy

Crowley, widow of the deceased

Mr. Crowley, to the corporation's eight-member board. Mr.Crowley,

Jr. will also continue in the posi- tions of president and chief operat- ing officer of the holding company.

Crowley also recently announced that Raul Iglesias, named general manager, Caribbean Services in the recent Crowley executive restruc- turing, has been promoted to the position of vice president, Carib- bean Services for Crowley Marine

Services' (CMS) subsidiary, Crowley

Towing & Transportation Company of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Mr. Iglesias has overall respon- sibility for Crowley's contract trans- port activities in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. These activities in- clude oil transportation, contract towing, ship assist, marine salvage, rescue towing, environmental ser- vices (oil spill response, cleanup and containment) and bunker fuel sales.
