Will supervise design group and be directly respon- sible for feasible designs from conceptual sketches & preliminary analysis for naval and commercial marine projects in conformance with U.S. military, American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) and American
Bureau of Shipping (ABS) specifications as required; will coordinate projects & designers including scheduling work loads, follow-up to insure completion of tasks and evaluation of on-going design needs; will be responsible for layout utilizing 3-D designs on
AutoCad 12, component part selection and bill of materials generation; will interface with manufactur- ing to resolve fabrication & assembly problems and will respond to engineering design requests generat- ing necessary engineering change notices where applicable; will prepare sales proposal drawings in support of marketing requests and provide technical support to sales department. Requires Bachelor's
Degree in Naval Architecture Technology or Marine
Technology/Engineering Design or an evaluated equivalent via education and/or experience & 5 yrs exp in described duties or 5 yrs exp in marine design & drafting utilizing ANS114.5 specs, to include minimum of 4 yrs creating structural 3-D designs using AutoCad 11 and/or 12 & 2 yrs in utilization of
DOD-Std-100/1000. Will travel approx. 20% of time inside & outside the U.S. Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 per yr. DOE.

SERVICE SUPERVISOR 1
Supervise and coordinate field service (installation, start-up ser- vice, maintenance, repairs) on heavy-fuel, medium-speed diesel engines for ship propulsion and power plant applications. Direct and coordinate work of service mechanics in mechanical, hydrau- lic and electrical work required to maintain and repair engines. Pro- vide customer support through written/verbal communications with engine customers. Handle technical discussions with factory per- sonnel. Organize time/expense records after service jobs and write service reports. Provide general follow-up from previous service visits. Prepare for future service jobs by collecting equipment, or- ganizing personnel and advising Spare Parts of parts to be drawn.
Evaluate engine performance in the field and corresponding ser- vice requirements and provide pertinent feedback to engine prod- uct and sen/ice groups at factories for improvement in engine con- struction and/or maintenance. Train mechanics and customers in engine operation. Requirements: The Company will consider equally: 1) B.S. in Marine or Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and re- pair of heavy-fuel, medium-speed diesel engines, OR 2) Comple- tion of at least 2 years of an accredited college-level program in
Marine or Mechanical Engineering plus 6 years progressively re- sponsible experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-fuel, medium-speed diesel engines. Also requires operating and repair knowledge of not only diesel engines but entire power plant and engine room systems; knowledge of and field experience with di- agnostic tools used to analyze engine performance; working knowl- edge of engine control systems (including both pneumatic and elec- trical control systems); willingness to work unpredictable hours (in- cluding nights, weekends, holidays) as necessary, and willingness to travel frequently on short notice (primarily in the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America) for varying periods of time. Basic hrs: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; $16.83/hr. basic wage rate plus $25.25/hr. overtime.
