At Newport News Shipbuilding, we're moving . ahead on delivery of the first in a series of double-hulled Double Eagle tankers. American Progress will sail this fall. It's a milestone — for both the yard and our customer, Mobil Corporation — marking the first ship built in America with a double hull, all mild steel and a centerline bulkhead to meet U.S. and international environmental and safety requirements.
