Qualifications include more than five years of experience in the design of ocean instruments and/or underwater vehicles; demonstrated proficiency in material selection for underwater applications with corrosion considerations, structural analy- sis (FEA skills desired), electronics pack- aging, CAD and solid modeling (AutoCAD and Solidworks), and strong communica- tion skills.
