Manned Sub to Survey Titanic
A 2018 mission will send a survey expedition team with the latest subsea imaging technology and a newly built manned submersible to assess the condition of the Titanic wreckage and document artifacts in the debris ? eld. The crew will be the ? rst to visit the wreck since 2005.

Oceanography have partnered with the
Icelandic Coast Guard (ICG) to study the uniquely extreme ocean surface conditions that characterize the waters off Iceland’s coast where rough seas of sea state 7 or greater are common. The researchers have deployed a suite of ma- rine instruments to observe the region’s waves, winds, pressure, temperature and currents..
