H.D. Hart Named To

Marketing Position

At Foss Alaska Line

H.D. (Bud) Hart has been ap- pointed manager, market develop- ment for Foss Alaska Line, a di- vision of Dillingham Maritime.

The announcement was made by

T.V. Van Dawark. vice president and general manager of FAL.

Mr. Hart brings to FAL 13 years of varied experience in the transportation and motor carrier service industry. He will be based at the Seattle headquarters for

FAL and be responsible for de- veloping information on new FAL market opportunities and analyz- ing the feasibility of service ex- pansion projects.

Norwegian Contractors, one of the two companies in Norway that build oil platforms for off- shore use, has entered into a co- operation agreement with Cana- dian Lundrigans Ltd. of New- foundland, and Dillingham Corp. of Canada, to engineer and con- struct an offshore platform for

Mobil Oil Canada, in the Hibernia

Field off Newfoundland. Norwe- gian Contractors will assist with the design as well as the con- struction, for a remuneration of approximately 20 percent of the building contract, in addition to receiving license fees. The amount of the contract has not been re- leased.
