Tennessee Tombigbee Water- way—This workshop will deal with the practical aspects of navigating the Tennessee-Tombigbee Water- way, the nation's newest inland canal.

Interfacing with Governmen- tal Agencies—How government agencies influence various aspects of river transportation will be ad- dressed at this workshop. Included will be discussions pertaining to laws and personnel related to Coast

Guard activities; port and in-route safety functions; conservation reg- ulations and game warden respon- sibilities; permitting; and a vari- ety of other waterways regulations.

Selection of a Repair Yard—

This major workshop will deal ex- tensively with considerations to be made in selecting a repair facility for barges and tows. Ways to in- sure best repair results before, during and after the work is done will also be discussed.

More than 2,000 attendees are expected to visit the Second An- nual International Inland Water- ways Conference and Trade Show.

Held in conjunction with the con- ferences and workshops, the trade show will be located in the exhibit area of the Kentucky Fair and Ex- position Center.
