Gems Sensors

Introduces New Console

For Liquid Level Monitoring

Gems Sensors Division, Plainville, Conn., re- cently introduced new microprocessor-con- trolled, desktop consoles for use with liquid level monitoring. These units can monitor 16 individ- ual tanks on one panel and signal when alarm points have been reached.

Called the GEMS TD-1000, the receiver can show the level of any tank, one at a time, on a

LED digital display built into the front panel.

The level transmitters mounted in proximate or remote process tanks are linked to the receiver.

Desired tank levels are selected and displayed in addition to the high and low alarms. Alarm set- tings for all tanks, as well as slosh delay values from 0 to 99 seconds, can easily be set on the key pad.

Installation is simple using only one power supply. The units are also equipped with an

RS232C output. Security against unauthorized changes in the alarm setting, slosh delay setting and self-test function is provided. The flexibility of this system permits future upgrade to pro- grammable controllers.
