Request for Proposals (RFP) C-40380 (Read- vertised) seeks proposals for the design, environ- mental permit acquisition, and construction of a depot to replace the current Hudson Depot, which is located on Pier 57 and an access area immediately to its east between 11th Avenue and the Hudson (North) River in Manhattan, N.Y.C.

The depot would house approximately 260 buses and have sufficient space to perform mainte- nance work, inspection, and associated pick-up work and house supporting storeroom facilities and administrative offices, etc. The Authority an- ticipates that the new facility would be located either directly north or south of the existing de- pot and could be either floating or pile-based.

The contractor would design and construct the facility and the adjacent dockage and access areas, and obtain environmental permits neces- sary for the project. The Authority has estab- lished a goal of 15% Disadvantaged Business
