Tukwila, Wash., was awarded a $7,455,559 firm-fixed-rate, indefinite quantity, indefi- nite delivery contract for intermodal trans- portation of containerized and bulkbreak cargo between Seattle, Wash., and the Nav- al Air Station, Adak, Alaska. The contract performance period is 24 months and will begin July 1, 1988, and end June 30, 1990.

Amclyde Engineering Products, Saint

S.C., was the successful offeror in a com- petitive program between public and private sector shipyards for the Extended Refit

Period (ERP) for USS James Madison (SSBN-627). The ERP is being assigned on a firm-fixed-price basis. The price for this effort is $10,128,650. Work will be com- pleted in December 1989. The Naval Sea

CVN-75. The new total target price of this fixed-price incentive contract is $3,674,000,000. Work will be completed in

General Dynamics Corporation, Electric

Boat Division, Groton, Conn., was awarded a $347,400,000 fixed-price-incentive con- tract for one SSN-688 class submarine.
