THE WORLD ORDERBOOK (end of 4th Qtr., 1994)

In total there are 1,182 ships under construction totaling more than 18 million gt, according to the latest statistics released from Lloyd's Register. Also, there are 1,134 ships totaling more than 27.7 million gt which have been ordered but have not yet commenced building.

According to the report, the volume of tonnage in the world orderbook has increased by 3,716,466 to a total of 45,791,505 gt. More than 91 percent of the world orderbook is scheduled for delivery by the end of 1996.
