The Steamship Authority is seeking an experienced individ- ual to direct the day-to-day engine department operations and coordination of maintenance activities of the Authority's 9 vessel fleet, including planning of vessel maintenance schedules, development and management of operating budgets, coordinating vessel engine department design requirements for USCG approval and management of vessel engine department operations. Must respond to all emer- gency calls to ensure continued uninterrupted service of all

Steamship Authority vessels. Degree in marine engineering, or equivalent, computer literate, and previous experience in the operation and maintenance of main propulsion and auxil- iary systems in a marine environment are required.
