In meeting the threat posed to maritime assets,Raytheon Anschütz developed what it terms a flexible and cost-effective surveillance solutions for the com- mercial maritime and offshore industry. Raytheon An- schütz?s in-house SMARTBLUE Command and Control (C2) integration software connects long range surveillance radars, CCTV cameras, AIS and commu- nication systems to a single interface giving the opera- tor a surveillance and security tool for maritime assets. Scalable, SMARTBLUE? C2 can be installed as a lo- cally operated stand-alone system capable of protectingan offshore platform, FPSO, oil and gas terminal or ves- sel in a medium to high risk zone to a fully integrated remotely operated system with multiple radar andCCTV sites giving protection to an oilfield, port or coastal region. In addition and in order to increase the flexibility of the system for potential offshore cus- tomers, Raytheon Anschütz have designed a container- ized version of the system with extendable radar and CCTV masts which not only reduces installation andcommissioning timelines but also makes it easier to transport offshore. The SMARTBLUE user interface allows the operator to use a variety of sensors to detect, track and identify targets entering the vicinity of a vessel, port or other maritime asset and then to share this information withmultiple SMARTBLUE C2 users on other maritime as- sets operating within the vicinity. This sharing of data is designed to provide a greater understanding of the mar- itime picture, allowing operations to be coordinated more effectively. The software also allows for additional applications to be included such as; satellite communi-cations, an oil spill detection capability which can alsopredict the track of the spill based on met-ocean infor- mation, ice detection, search and rescue coordinationand meteorological monitoring to be integrated into the workstation depending on the environment, regulations 3030 E.
