Container Ships Line Up

In 2021-22, “line up” in the containershipping industry meant line up and wait outside ports for days, if not weeks at a time awaiting a slot to unload. In ‘23 and beyond it might mean lining up for a slot at the scrapyard, as the once bullish sector has turned decidedly bearish as trade patterns change and global recession looms.
