  • Suderman & Young Towing Co., a Houston, Texas-based towing firm with operations throughout the Western U.S. Gulf Coast, has announced the election of N. Claxton Rayzor as the company's president.

In addition, in the first quarter of 1977, Suderman & Young will take delivery of a new 3,200-hp tug which was designed specifically for general harbor work.

Her high bollard pulls of over 50 tons ahead and 40 tons astern will make her the most powerful harbor tug in the U.S. Gulf.

Suderman & Young is the oldest towing company on the U.S.
