OSi Completes

Dry-Docking

Based in Houston, Texas, Ocean

Shipholdings, Inc.(OSI) has completed its first drydocking with Charleston, SC based Detyens Shipyard, Inc. (DSI). The 33,095 (DWT) tanker, USNS Paul Buck sailed into Charleston in April for a 51 day availability. The scope of work contained regular scheduled maintenance items, cargo tank and ballast tank blasting and coating, and a complete upgrade of the main engine bridge control system. "This was OSI's first repair availability with DSI," said Jeremy White with OSI, "and we have come away with a good impression of the shipyard's overall capa- bilities and workmanship."

Deepwater Frontier

Gets Contract

Transocean said that its High-Specifica- tion drillship, the Deepwater Frontier, was awarded a two-year contract by an inter- national oil and gas operator. The contract is expected to commence in the late-third quarter or early-fourth quarter of 2006.
