VESSEL FOR SALE 41 Meter High-Speed Catamaran
The Flying Cloud, built by Derecktor Shipyards in 2000, has a service speed of 32 knots and a top speed of 34 knots. The vessel was recently re-powered with a set of new MTU 16V4000 engines and Reintjes reduction gears. The engine manufacturer's 2-year warranty is transferable. The Flying
Cloud has Kamewa waterjets, a full MDI ride control system with both t-foils and stern-mounted interceptors, a fully integrat- ed bridge with 2 Raytheon ARPA radar sets, Vistar night vision,
TRANSAS chart plotter, CCTV system, port and starboard wing controls and is USCG-certified for 300 passengers and crew.
The vessel is currently operating between Hyannis, MA and
Nantucket Island and is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2006 upon the delivery of a new replacement vessel.
