Marine Operations (AMO) unit. SBI began delivering 41-foot CIVs to USCBP in 2016 under a $48.4 million contract. Powered by four 350HP Mercury outboards, the high-speed interdiction CIVs are capable of 58 knots, a maximum 350 nautical mile range and 10 hours endur- ance. CIVs support the CBP AMO’s mission of combating maritime smuggling and terrorist activities.
