Flat Cables for

Sub-Zero Temperatures

Rated for operational temperatures as low as -65°C, Cicoil’s rubber jacketed cables are unaffected when exposed to ice, ? exible ? at cables have been designed to provide non-stop snow, sea ice, vibration, salt water submersion, permafrost, reliability in Punishing Weather, Polar Climates, Cryogenic physical shock, operational stress, high levels of UV rays &

Equipment and Space Applications. The deep freeze resis- ozone, de-icing ? uids, most chemicals and even high heat tant Flexx-Sil Rubber Jacket needs no external conduit for (+260C) too. Cicoil’s Arctic Grade Cables are UL Recog- protection, retains ? exibility and will not deform, crack or nized, CE Conforming, RoHS & REACH Compliant and wear due to long-term exposure to intense cold tempera- are manufactured in an automated, climate controlled envi- tures. In addition, the ultra-durable jacketing material is ronment. In addition, the cables are 100% contaminant-free “self-healing” from small punctures and cable jacket dam- and exceed the outgassing requirements of ASTM E-595.

Pal? nger Package for Kreuz Subsea’s New RV

Pal? nger Marine won the contract to deliver lifesaving equip- ment and a winch package for Kreuz Subsea’s newbuild ves- sel, a Vard 317 design. The vessel for the Singapore-based integrated offshore subsea service provider Kreuz Subsea is designed and constructed by Vard. The DP2 class vessel, with a total length of 91.2 meters a beam of 21.5 meters, is prepared for remote operating vehicles (ROVs) and will be used to for diving support and subsea construction duties.

Pal? nger Marine’s newly acquired Norwegian Deck Ma- 2G Robotics Delivers to Oceaneering chinery (NDM), is to supply the winch package, including 2G Robotics delivered two deep-rated ULS-500 subsea la- two combined windlass/mooring winches, two chain stop- ser systems to Oceaneering Survey Services (C&C Tech- pers, two capstans, four 60-ton mooring winches (four-point nologies), a provider of deepwater sea? oor mapping ser- mooring system) inclusive bridge mounted remote control vices, subsea surveys and satellite positioning. Including system as well as two HPUs.

these two ULS-500 systems, Oceaneering now uses six of www.pal? nger.com the ULS-500 systems with its AUVs as part of its advanced survey and inspection services for assessing pipeline and ? owline integrity. Oceaneering has been using the ULS- 500 since 2013 to perform dynamic ? owline and pipeline inspections with its AUVs. The ULS-500 can be used to per- form high-quality stationary scans, but the system delivers even greater operational value when integrated with subsea vehicles to perform dynamic scanning. The ULS-500 is spe- ci? cally designed for dynamic scanning with development focused on subsea vehicle integration, high sample rates, and timing synchronization for ef? cient and accurate data www.2grobotics.com acquisition.
