Schrader Bellows Introduces New Line of Mini-Valves

A series of five miniature pneumatic valves has been introduced by the Automation Products Group of Schrader Bellows, including four spool valves and one poppet valve.

The new Directair® miniature valve series features high flow capacities (.127 Cv to 1.0 Cv), while still maintaining smallness for use in compact areas and the ability to interface with computerized equipment. In addition, the smallness of the valves makes them less expensive.

The series includes Directair 1 body-ported, poppet and spool valves; Directair 2 sub-base mounted and pipe ported spool valves; and Directair 4 body-ported, sub-base and manifold mounted spool valves. The valves are available in port sizes 10-32 UNF and '/-inch and Vl-inch NPT. Actuators for the entire series can be solenoid, pilot, mechanical or manual.

The new Directair miniature poppet valve is in response to the demand for ultra-small, efficient and reliable valves. A range of actuators for mechanical or manual use is available.
