Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Names Principal Officers

The names of the principal officers of Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Company, the company that has acquired the assets of Sun Ship, Inc., have been announced.

Ned Marandino has been appointed president of Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Company. Mr. Marandino was formerly president of the Ingalls Shipbuilding Division of Litton Industries, Inc., and a senior vice president of Litton.

John Serrie has been appointed vice president, operations. Mr.

Serrie's career in shipbuilding includes the positions of chief engineer at the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics; vice president, operations, at the Ingalls Shipbuilding Division of Litton Industries; president of Seatrain Shipbuilding; and, most recently, president of Levingston Shipbuilding.

I)an Johnston has been appointed vice president, administration.

Mr. Johnston joins Penn Ship from Levingston Shipbuilding Company, where he was vice president, planning and control.

Joe Romano has been appointed vice president, industrial relations.

Mr. Romano also joins Penn Ship from Levingston Shipbuilding Company, where he was director, industrial relations.

K.L. (Shorty) Dow has been appointed vice president, internal controls. Mr. Dow joins Penn Ship from Levingston Industries, Inc., where he was vice president, operations.

Tim Colton has been appointed vice president, marketing. Mr.

Colton also joins Penn Ship from Levingston Industries, Inc., where he was vice president, corporate development.
