High Strength, Vibration Resistant Fastener from Huck
Alcoa Fastening Systems debuted the premium BOM (blind oversized mechanically locked) fastener. The BOM is the highest strength blind oversize fastener in the world, providing typical tensile strength up to 29,100 lbs. and shear strength up to 45,100 lbs. The unique push-and-pull design of the BOM allows for easy installation in all blind side applications, without the need for torqueing tools. Additionally, the large bearing area on both sides of the work piece ensures a permanently held, tamperresistant joint.
