Intertrade Given Additional Navy Contract For Marine Fenders

Literature Offered Intertrade Industries of Huntington Beach, Calif., recently received an additional U.S. Navy contract for the supply of foam-filled marine fenders. Contract DLA500-86-C- 0758 was issued to the firm by the Defense Logistics Agency at Philadelphia for NSN 2040-00-807-4197 marine fenders to be delivered over 20 months.

These lightweight 70 pound fenders, measuring 2 feet in diameter by 3 feet long, will be utilized throughout the Navy for shipboard use in ship-to-ship and ship-to-dock applications.

This contract, in conjunction with the recently announced receipt of another contract from the Naval Supply Center at Norfolk, Va., for one hundred 6-foot by 12-foot floating fenders confirms Intertrade's position as one of the largest suppliers of marine fenders to the U.S.

Navy.
