Stork Moves Service And Repair Shop To Schiedam

Stork-Werkspoor Diesel bv (SWDiesel) of Amsterdam has moved its Service and Repair Workshop, formerly located in Rotterdam for the past 25 years, to the Wilhelminahaven in Schiedam, The Netherlands.

All service and repair work for The Netherlands and Belgium will now be carried out at the new location, which covers approximately 3,000 square meters.

One of the major considerations for moving to this new location was to have deep water adjacent to the workshop. The Wilhelminahaven, l o c a t e d on H o l l a n d ' s major waterway between Rotterdam and Europoort, enables customers to moor their vessel next to the new building, where the water depth is more than seven meters (23 feet) at SWDiesel's own pier.
