Okabe Offers Mil-Spec Fasteners Stocking And Mill Shipment Program

David V. White has been named sales manager of the Okabe Company, Inc. Non-Ferrous Division.

This division, which specializes in the distribution of nonferrous fasteners, is now stocking a full line of MONEL alloy fasteners, including hex head cap screws, hex nuts, threaded rod to MIL-2-1222, lockwashers to MS-35338 and flat washers to commercial standards. All items will have complete traceability to the original heat lot. The Quality Assurance Program conforms to the requirements of MIL-I-45208, MIL-STD-105 and MIL-STD- 45662, along with other government and commercial standards.

Having been audited and approved by the Department of Defense and other major defense contractors, Okabe is shipping broken package up to bulk quantities with complete chemical and physical test reports. Besides their stocking program on MONEL alloy fasteners, they are handling mill shipments in 18-8 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and silicon bronze under the guidelines of the Quality Assurance Program. By early 1989, they plan to have the same stocking programs for these three materials as well as the MONEL.
