Abex/Denison Introduces New Trimline Family Of Hydraulic Pumps

A powerful new generation of axial piston variable volume hydraulic pumps and motors have been combined by Abex Corporation, Denison Division, into what the firm states are the smallest, lightest and most compact transmission packages available to mobile equipment industries.

This new family of transmissions, known as The Gold Cup "Trimline," is suitable for marine and general industrial applications.

Convenient rear porting facilitates installation and piping of the pump and motor combinations.

The new Gold Cup "Trimline" hydrostatic transmissions have high speed, pressure, flow and torque capabilities for their physical size and weight. They also have fast compensator override—- less than 50 milliseconds. The override feature holds pump displacement where it is needed to maintain pressure and output torque. This quick response plus unique built-in valving eliminates the need for external cross-port relief valves.

D e s i g n a t e d Trimline 6 and Trimline 7.25, the first two models currently available offer displacements of 6.00 and 7.25 cubic inches per revolution, respectively.

Other sizes to be released soon in the new Gold Cup line of hydrostatic transmissions have d i s p l a c e m e n t s of 11.00, 14.00, 24.00 and 29.00 cubic inches per revolution. Just three frame or housing sizes will accommodate all of these displacements.

The new Gold Cup "Trimline" transmissions from Denison are rated up to 3,000 rpm, with maximum 5,000 psi continuous and 6,000 psi intermittent closed loop pressure. The units also can be used in open loop circuits or combination closed/open loop circuits, a desirable feature for many mobile applications.

In addition to its plants in Columbus, Marysville, and Delaware, Ohio, Denison has plants and sales offices in Belgium, Denmark, England, France, India, Italy, Japan and West Germany.

The company is further represented throughout the world by a network of sales and service affiliates.

Denison's parent company, Abex Corporation, is a subsidiary of IC Industries, Inc., Chicago, 111.
